We explored an innovative treatment for chronic bacterial prostatitis (CBP) by creating antibiotic-loaded nanoparticles modified with folic acid. These nanoparticles can effectively target and penetrate the prostate tissues where inflammation and pain occur.

We examined the effects of Flower pollen extract with vitamins (Deprox 500®) on chronic pelvic pain compared to Serenoa repens in patients diagnosed with Chronic Prostatitis/Chronic Pelvic Pain Syndrome (CP/CPPS).
In a randomized controlled trial involving 63 patients, those taking Deprox 500® experienced significant improvements in their symptom scores and overall quality of life.
Notably, patients with hypertension saw an even greater reduction in symptoms. This suggests that Deprox 500® could be a beneficial treatment option for managing pelvic pain.

Caused strong headache
I experienced a severe headache that lasted over 24 hours. Unfortunately, the anti-inflammatory painkiller didn’t alleviate the pain caused. Perhaps the dosage is too high for daily use; I might try taking half a tablet.
